Stipe Bilić

Piano

Stipe Bilić (1992) started his musical education in his hometown of Rijeka, Croatia. He achieved his Master`s degree in Piano at the Academy of Music in Zagreb (class of Ruben Dalibaltayan) as well as at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz (class of Milana Chernyavska). At the same university in Graz, he continued his Master Studies of Piano-Vocal Accompaniment in the class of Stacey Bartsch, as well as in the class of Katharina Brand, with special focus on historically informed practice in playing the historic pianos. At Scuola di Musica di Fiesole (Italy) Stipe attended Postgraduate course by the prominent pianist and pegagogue Elisso Virsaladze. He participated in numerous national and international piano competitions, in which he won (to name a few) first prize at National Competitions (2007, 2009, 2013) as well at the International competitions (Stefano Marizza, Concorso Internazionale Euroregione, Young virtouso). He had many successful performances both as solo pianist and chamber musician, across Europe (Italy, Slovenia, Germany, Belgium, France, Poland, Ukraine, Austria, Hungary etc.). He attended many masterclasses by reknowned pianists and pedagogues such as Balazs Szokolay, Grigory Gruzman, Olga Cinkoburova, Noel Flores, Alexey Lubimov, Noel Flores, Edoardo Torbianelli etc. He is a member of the international Foundation La Nouvelle Athènes (Paris, France) and of WISE Ensemble (Vienna, Austria) led by his duo partner, violinist Andrea Nikolić.
